2. Enquiries and applications by email
Contact and application links open the user’s email application. The website does not contain a public form that collects and stores messages or CVs in its database.
When you send an email, ENGI.S receives the sender’s address, the content, any contact details and the attachments you choose to send. This information is used to respond to the enquiry, manage professional contacts or assess an application, on the basis of pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject and, where applicable, legal obligations.
Providing information is optional. Without the necessary data, it may not be possible to respond or assess an application. Please do not send personal information that is unrelated to your enquiry.
3. Browsing and technical data
The website’s operation requires the exchange of technical data with the infrastructure that delivers pages and images, such as the IP address, browser information, requested resources and the date and time of the request. This data may be processed to provide the service, diagnose problems and protect systems from abuse, on the basis of the legitimate interest in the website’s operation and security.
Images may be distributed through a content delivery service. Opening an external link, such as the map showing our office, takes you to a separate service, to which the relevant provider’s privacy information applies.
4. Cookies and the management area
The website’s code does not incorporate behavioural analytics tools, advertising pixels or profiling cookies. No automated decisions are made about users for commercial purposes.
The content management area uses a technical authentication cookie, __Host-engis_cms, with a maximum duration of 8 hours. The cookie recognises an authorised session and is removed on sign-out. It is not required to read the public pages. The systems also retain the technical information needed to verify and protect access.
5. Access to data and service providers
Data is handled by people authorised by ENGI.S and by the providers involved in delivering technical services, including email, hosting and content delivery, in accordance with their respective roles. It may be disclosed to authorities where required by law. It is not intended for publication or sale for marketing purposes.
You can ask ENGI.S for information about the providers involved, processing locations and any safeguards applicable to transfers of data outside the European Economic Area.
6. Retention
The retention policy previously communicated by ENGI.S provides a limit of 12 months from receipt for information enquiries and 24 months for CVs and applications, subject to specific legal obligations or documented needs that justify a different period. Processing is limited to the time necessary for the relevant purposes.
The duration of the access cookie is stated above. For technical delivery and security data, retention depends on operational purposes, any incidents to be handled and the configuration of the services used. Information applicable to individual processing activities may be requested from the data controller.
7. Your rights
In the cases provided for by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you may request access, rectification or erasure of data, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
